The fine art of filigree making, or weaving together extremely thin strands of silver, has been handed down for hundreds of years--first in Yemen and now also in Israel. The filigree is intricately woven out of sterling which is then oxidized to make it look ancient and timeless. The filigree panels are open in the back, allowing the wrist to breath. Some panels are lent additional splendor with inlaid shards of ancient roman glass.
